The Virtrex website teaser for your Expo

1. What is the website teaser for? 

Each Expo that takes place via Virtrex has its own URL. You can already communicate this URL in promotional material to invite more visitors to the start. Since these actions take place before the Expo starts, Virtrex offers a website teaser. This allows visitors to get first information about the Expo before it starts. The start of the Expo is accompanied by a countdown.

2. What does the website teaser look like? 

The teaser (see image 1 below) includes a welcome message and initial information about your Expo, as well as the specific start dates. Below this, visitors will see a countdown that counts down to the start of your Expo. Visitors also have the option to register for notification. This will be sent at the start of the Expo so that visitors do not miss it. It is an automatically generated E-Mail, and the text cannot be customised.

3. How to implement the website teaser? 

To implement the web page teaser, click on Expos in your Admin Panel and select the Expo for which you want to use the teaser. After you have opened the Expo, you will see the "Web page teaser for your Expo" section at the top (see image 2 below). Here you can add the start dates of your Expo and save the details. Once you have published your Expo but the start date has not yet been reached, the countdown will be displayed on the URL of your Expo. Make sure that you have already edited the Expo settings and that a title image and a description of your Expo are saved.

Please note that you can only take this action if you have a license to publish your Expo. Otherwise, you can request it directly in the Admin Panel or at support@virtrex.de.
