Another feature, which Virtrex offers is showing preferred interests to visitors to provide a more relevant and interesting experience.
As an organizer, you have the option to create corresponding interests that describe the content of your Expo which will be showcased to the user. To define these interests, enter a specific Expo, navigate to the center column of the screen and scroll until you see the “Expo Categories” and “Brand Categories” section. There choose “Manage categories” under “Expo Categories” (see below image 1.1.) to open a popup that will offer you to create, edit and delete categories. Please create the categories in all languages in which you will offer your Expo (see below image 2). In the next step, you can also assign these categories to your brand by clicking on “Choose category” under “Brand Categories” (see below image 1.2.).

If you were invited to the Expo as a participating brand, please note, that you don’t have the option to create categories. Instead, you will have the possibility to select multiple categories from a selection the Expo organizer has prepared.
When visitors enter the Expo for the first time a pop-up will appear. Here, the defined topics are shown from which the visitors can choose their preferences. If the visitors would like to make changes to their selected preferences, they can always navigate to the personal profile and select the option “Change interests”.
