You can change the language in which Virtrex is displayed (in the Admin Panel and the visitor page) via your browser settings by selecting your preferred language there. If you change the language in your browser settings, you are not changing the actual language of the browser but the language of the displayed content. This means that the browser and navigation language will remain the same, while the Admin Panel and the visitor overview will be displayed entirely in the language you have selected.
You can change the language of the content displayed via the Expo's categories by creating separate categories for each language you want to present in your content. For example, create the categories “Digitale Anwendungen” for your German content and “Digital Applications” for your English content. Assign your products to these categories after you have created them in the corresponding languages (Product 1 GER, Product 1 ENG, etc.). You can also create the category “German” or similar. All content assigned to the language can then be displayed via this category.
The categories can be found on the visitor side under “Filter by topic”. The following image (see below image 1) shows an example of how categories can look like for visitors.
Image 1: Here you can see how the set categories look like on the visitor page.
You can create a separate Expo for each language in which you want to present the content of your Expo (see below image 2.1.). Each Expo will then have its URL per language (see image 2.2., 2.3. and 2.4.). Since content cannot be duplicated, all of your content must first be created in the languages you want. That means that your content is created several times and can then be added to the corresponding Expos.
Image 2: Here you can see how a separate Expo was created for each language.
Do not forget to add your created products to the corresponding Expo afterwards.
Please do not use the option to translate the Admin Panel and the visitor page via Google Translate. This option appears at the top right of the browser if the language of the displayed content does not match the language you have selected in your browser settings. Google Translator is not a reliable option as the content may not be translated correctly, and the appearance of Virtrex could be shown distorted.
